It just occurred to me (I'm a tad slow in addition to being short-bus "special") how totally cool it is to make a new baby announcement in a "junior member coming out" thread.  I'm just a sucker for a happy confluence of events.  ;D

Roml, is this your first kid?  Have you picked out a CT forum name for her yet?  "Baby Roml"? "Romlette"?

Man, I loved having infants around the house.  There's definitely some sleeplessness and stress.  But I'm not sure there's much that can compete with those lazy Spring Sunday afternoons on the coach with a sleeping infant snuggled up on my chest.

That's it!  I'm off to find the wife and see if my recent full membership can change her mind about having a fourth baby.  :)

She said: "Eeew!  No way!  I want a divorce".

Personally I took that as a positive sign.  She used to just laugh hysterically.  ::)

sorry to be a downer - but I am always forthcoming whenever anyone asks... to not be would be to suggest her life didnt mean anything - whereas it has had a profound effect on us.    :)

I'm saddened to hear about Emma.  But I'm cheered by the feeling, based on what I read, that your little girl is going to have some very special (meant in a good way this time) parents.

What a moving story about Emma...

And what a beautiful little girl (assuming, from the pink in the outfit).

Congratulations! :)
